$30-Million Gift for Carnival Center

Adrienne Arsht
Adrienne Arsht
Adrienne Arsht, a national business leader, philanthropist and former Miami banker, has delivered financial security to Miami’s fledgling performing arts center through a $30-million donation. The Carnival Center for the Performing Arts will be renamed the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Prompted by the sizable donation from Arsht, Carnival relinquished naming rights of the center. The arts center will keep the original $10-million gift from the Arison family, and the studio theater, bridge and Art Deco tower will be renamed to reflect the Arison contribution.
